| Cyber-state.org. The Michigan Information Technology
Commission, in a groundbreaking 1998 report, warned that Michigan's
businesses, communities, schools, and government offices were unprepared
to take full advantage of the Information Revolution. Cyber-state.org,
a member of the Altarum family, emerged out of the commission's recommendation
to establish a central organization that would drive the state's IT
advancements. The non-partisan organization advocates for IT to benefit
everyone in Michigan. |
| |
| CityConnect Detroit. The complexity of today's society
calls for a strategic and powerful response from non-profit organizations
serving the people in and around Detroit. Building cross-sector bridges
between non-profit organizations, City departments and local funders
greatly increases the impact of programming on community problems,
while attracting more federal dollars to the area. With this in mind,
City Connect Detroit brings together technology and people to help
strengthen the human services sector in southeastern Michigan. |
